Pups are 12 Weeks Old
All the pups are in their homes and doing well. House-training is coming along. Basic manners are being learned. Puppy classes are beginning. The following series of photos shows some of Mira's litter in the last 4 weeks in their new homes indulging in some schnauzer fun. Enjoy!

Tailey Races Off to Her New Life
A bold and agile pup, Tailey is now happily matched with a great family of serious agility competitors. Tailey--now known as Brenna (Celtic for Black)--joins new standard schnauzer "siblings" Ming and 2K and human family members for a fun and adventure-filled life. Thank you to everyone who inquired about Tailey--er, Brenna!--and who have wished her well.
I am thrilled to report that Brenna will be keeping her gloriously expressive tail because of the way that tails factor into balance and the importance of balance to Brenna's future career in the agility ring. The harmony between Brenna's tail and her overall body position is wonderfully shown in the photograph below.
Thank you again, Teri, Pierre, Simone, Ming and 2K for welcoming Brenna into your lives! I am soooo excited to see you and Brenna in action some day in the agility ring.

Portrait of Tailey at 10 Weeks
What a pretty, pretty girl. I am amazed at how much the pups have grown. I know it's to be expected, but sometimes the growth surprises me anyway.
I gave Tailey a schnauzer groom on Sunday. She looks so pretty. I am delighted by her black eyes (technically, dark brown, but you can see here how dark, dark they are), her rectangular head, pretty ears and black coloration. You can still see a bit of her milkdrop under her chin, but this seems to be lessening with time.
If you have one of Tailey's siblings and are willing to share photos, stories, please email Brooke at schnauzr@gmail.com. I have been hearing from people who are eager to know how the pups are and see them as they have grown.

Cooper has Travel Plans!
Cooper (aka, White Stripe Boy) flies off to meet his lovely owner tomorrow. He is really excited about the big adventure on the airplane followed by arriving and showing off how loving and beautiful (um, Cooper corrects me--how "effortlessly, smoothly masculine") he is.
Have fun, Cooper. We will really miss you. Ash, Cooper's big cousin, will especially miss playtime with his little side-kick. "See ya around, Lil' Buddy," says Ash.
